Sony’s MLB The Show Creators Give Gamer with Cerebral Palsy Chance to Step on to His Own Field of Dreams

Video games are a fun escape for most of us, but twenty-three year old Hans Smith suffers from Cerebral Palsy and his passion for playing Baseball is confined to the virtual medium. Wanting to thank the creators of the game that gives him the ability to experience the sport he loves, Hans wrote a letter to the makers of MLB The Show.

Once the developers at Sony finished wiping away the tears from their eyes, they contacted Hans to let him know they received his letter and then invited him down to their studios to put him in the game.

I’m not sure about you, but I’d much rather see more stories like this and less Activision versus Infinity Ward mumbo jumbo. Bravo Sony. This made my day.
