Cliff Bleszinski Touches Down in NY, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Will Reveal Epic’s New Game Next Monday
Epic Games Gears of War mastermind Cliff Bleszinski touched down in New York a few short hours ago, as he prepares to unleash a new video game on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon next Monday. The appearance was supposed to take place tomorrow night, but much like Matt Damon on the other Jimmy show, Dude Huge was bumped. And for what? Some pop star named Justin Bieber. An outrage I tell you!!
Cliff issued the following statements on his Twitter account:
“Unfortunately, 11th hour decisions do happen in entertainment. (You’ll like what you see.) … In hindsight I should have used this to cause a pop culture flame war between 12 year old girls and gamers.”
Well at least he is being a good sport about it all.
Those of us who enjoyed his weapon toting announcement of Gears 2 will be slightly disappointed to know that Cliff won’t be packing any heat or fancy pitch lines this time around.
Could this be Gears of War 3? The Gears fanatic in me sure as hell hopes so. Either way, Cliff promised us an interview once they had something new to promote, and I plan on holding him to it. Sit tight.
