New Gears of War 3 Screens Are Glamour Heavy and Substance Light

If Marcus and the rest of the Gears 3 crew were ever asked to pose for an Abercrombie & Fitch photo shoot, the three images released by Epic and Microsoft today will give you a pretty good idea of what it might look like.

I won’t even attempt to justify these glamour shots, and I consider myself a pretty loyal fan of the franchise. I mean, it looks like they’re all posing in front of glorified matte paintings and waiting for someone to scream “that’s a wrap!” so they can inhale a bunch of catered food before hopping on the phone with their agents to complain about poor lighting on set and a bush league photographer who failed to capture their “good side.”
