Pachter’s Bitch-Slip Reveals Jaffe’s New Twisted Metal Game Before E3?

Wedbush Morgan Securities Analyst, Michael Pachter, has a bit of a history with God of War and Twisted Metal creator, David Jaffe. In fact, it wasn’t long ago that Jaffe referred to Pachter as “his bitch.”

Well, with a quick slip of the tongue (that some may find all too convenient), it seems that Pachter has found a way to return the favor. During a recent GameTrailers “Bonus Round” session with host Geoff Keighley and a slew of other prominent gaming editors, Pachter made the following statement regarding Sony’s E3 lineup:

“So I think that unfortunately Sony really does have good first party content, none Move first party content like David Jaffe’s Twisted Metal 2 Game …”

Geoff and the other various editors stared back in complete awe, as Pachter briefly stuttered on a few words before unleashing the following doozy of a response amid what had turned into a room full of laughter:

“What ever it’s going to be called. Sorry Jaffe …”

More laughter ensues…

“Jaffe called me his bitch the last time I saw him, so bitch that Jaffe.”

Bitch that indeed. Those two girls need to throw down their purses and have it out already. Meeeeow! Watch the whole thing go down in the GameTrailers video below.

Update: Jaffe issued the following response to the Pachter comment via his Twitter account earlier today:

“Amused & surprised people not seeing Pachter’s comment as the joke it was. Hell I don’t care. Come E3 I’ll be sitting rite here at my mac”

Now, as interesting as that may be, it still doesn’t deny his new game as being a Twisted Metal related title — it simply says that he won’t be at E3. Regardless, the whole thing is nothing but a big fat rumor at this point.
