Custom Iron Man Armored Kicks With Arc-Reactor Tongues

When I was much younger, light-up shoes were all the rage. They were annoying as all hell, but every time you take a step, they’d glow repeatedly, and it was always really fun to look down and see them like that.

Of course, as I got older, those shoes became lamer, and were resigned to a permanent spot in the back of my closet. It quickly became apparent that shoes with lights in them were a horrible idea that should never manifest itself outside of your imagination. Or so I thought.

Diversitile is bringing back the joy of light-up shoes in the coolest way imaginable, with these custom-made Iron Man/War Machine shoes. Not only are they grittily painted in Iron Man’s trademark red and yellow, (and a second pair in War-Machine grey) but these shoes have triggers to light up faux arc-reactors in their tongues.  If that isn’t absolutely kick ass, then we need to change the dictionary definition of “kick-ass” to suit this kind of thing.

The guys at Diversitile say these shoes were developed in a lab, just like Stark’s armor, but I’d like to believe that they made these shoes in a cave. With a box of scraps. If you want your own pair of these shoes, Diversitile says they will soon tell us how and for how much you can purchase these shoes. Below you can get a look at the War Machine shoes they made, and hit the link for more photos and details.
