Rumour: Online Multiplayer Coming to Mass Effect

If a recent job listing spotted by Cinemablend is to be believed, Bioware are looking to implement some kind of online multiplayer in the Mass Effect series.

The job listing was posted by EA’s senior recruiter Jeff Goldstein, in search of a “Multiplayer Programmer (Mass Effect).” Bioware have never ruled out multiplayer, as VG247 notes: “Sure, we would consider it… We haven’t announced anything on that front yet, but those are interesting ideas. They could make a great gameplay experience. Whether we’ll do them or not remains to be decided,” Ray Muzyka (Bioware’s head honcho) said last November.
