For the past few years, SEGA has released a nice number of their prized Genesis and somewhat-less prized Master System libraries, not only as downloadable titles, but also at retail with collections like Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection. More recently, they’ve revealed their slightly-late (that is, if you considered the tenth anniversary to be the perfect time) plans to make downloadable Dreamcast titles available for the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade.

Having not heard anything about the film, and learning of the film’s budget issues, we all assumed that the Bioshock movie was no more- but it looks like Gore Verbinski has no hopes of letting this project slip out of his hands because of a silly issue like “money”.

There has been a lot of Saints Row news over the past week or so, which is weird, since most of the world had forgotten Saints Row existed. But it does, and it’s back in full force. Not only with a third game in the series, but a secondary title called Saints Row: Drive By, which is coming to Xbox Live Arcade and the Nintendo 3DS.
After helping to revolutionize the way people get active with video games, Nintendo is seeking to put all of that energy to work over the summer of 2010 with the help of Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson (and Mario, of course) in the first-ever Wii Games.
This is just a friendly reminder. Tonight marks the end of the North American Club Nintendo year. So make sure you have your games registered and you’ve taken all the surveys you need to take. Members who reach Platinum or Gold status will be awarded some free Nintendo goods.
Gamers and companies alike seem to have settled into a nice, rather satisfying little niche of sorts when it comes to hardware. Other than Nintendo’s 3DS, which is slated to be released before the end of the fiscal year on March 31st, there is no new hardware in sight.
