Hulu for Xbox Live Announced at E3?

Ever since Netflix hit Xbox Live, I’ve had the pleasure of watching older television shows right in my living room- a convenience that has saved me countless amounts of cash on DVD box sets and films. However, I’ve always wanted Hulu to step in with their line-up of current shows to stream to my television set as well. If what Gear Live is telling us is true, then come E3, Xbox Live might take a huge step forward with regards to media distribution.

While the above image isn’t real, it could be similar to what we’ll see if Microsoft announces Hulu for the Xbox 360. Gear Live also mentions that Hulu would most likely require a subscription fee for streaming, but I can only hope that this pricing model is similar to Netflix’s, where streaming is free with a Gold account. I’m almost positive there’ll be extraneous fees on top of the Gold subscription fee, but one can dream, right?
