PS4 Viral Videos “Not From Sony”
There’s a saying that good things come in threes, and as we approach E3, it’s pretty safe to assume that fake things will come in groupings much larger than that.
Sony PR Representative, Al de Leon told Game Informer earlier today that the supposed “leaked PS4 virals” making their way around the internet do not belong to them.
“I can confirm that this video is not from SCE [Sony Computer Entertainment]“, said de Leon.
At best, these “SCElabs” videos might be left overs from a failed agency pitch, as they don’t seem polished enough to be a final product. And in the extreme case an external agency was hired to produce this as a pre-E3 buzz starter, there is no way in hell anyone at Sony would ever come clean about it.
You can check out the two viral videos in discussion below. The first is a traditional example that appears to tease a 3D Modern Warfare 2 game, while the second is more of a Blair Witch approach that I’m pretty sure we all tired of seeing years ago.
