Square Enix Reveals Two Xbox 360 Arcade E3 2010 Titles

The name Square Enix is synonymous with quality, quantity, and above all else, difficult moments that end up in broken gaming devices. So you know when they announce two games you’re going to need to budget your year based around how many devices you’re left with.

First up on the roll call is Space Invaders: Infinity Gene. A classic play on the old school shooter Space Invaders, this game is looking to go back to its roots as well as adding onto the already simple gameplay. They have also added a 3D feature that takes the game from the old 2D look into a whole new world. Enough reading though, watch the siezure inducing trailer below.

Last but certainly not least is Necromachina. Players take the role of Faust, a young kid with spiky hair and a horrible fashion sense to boot. You’re tasked with restoring life and beauty to the now 22nd Century planet Earth by defeating the machines that lay waste to it. Players wield a weapon called “Mephistopheles” a weapon capable of breathing life into areas where there used to be none. You better haul arse though, as the end of days is nigh upon Faust and his spiky hair.
