E310: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Nintendo has announced a new Zelda game that uses the Wii MotionPlus! And the nunchuck will control the shield. Nintendo is really showing a lot of gameplay, so we’re constantly updating. You can hold the sold Skyward (the Skyward Sword!) to charge it “with the power of Heaven” and it will shoot sword beams. I’m assuming it’s similar to the sword beams that you shot in games like A Link to the Past when you were at full health.

Link also has access to a whip, giving him Indiana Jones abilities. The whip apparently can’t kill enemies, but with the Wii MotionPlus plays can quickly switch weapons.

Skyward Sword is scheduled to be released next year.

    Skyward sword looks really good, but if you have other wireless devices on, it can cause a_lot of interference with controls, still though i can’t wait for when it comes out

    This looks really exciting! I’m looking forward to the new use of items, new scenery, and especially the new way of controlling Link (might take some time getting used to, but oh well).
