Debut Trailer for Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
One of the moments that kind of got pushed into a corner at this year’s E3 was LucasArts announcing Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars for the Xbox 360, Wii, and DS. I’m not sure why it was largely ignored- the first two games, which chronicled the six films, were a hit. They were funny, charming, and entertaining for all ages, and this one looks to be the same way.
The good news is that this game seems to take on the story of the critically-acclaimed Clone Wars animated series, and not the film. The trailer is below, and the LEGO art style seems to fit almost perfectly with Clone Wars’s photo-realistic, but animated 3D. I’m excited, but I’m not sure I can wait until 2011, when the game lands.
