Aliens, House of the Dead Could Come to 3DS
Sega West’s president Mike Hayes has stated that we could see titles like Aliens and House of the Dead coming to the Nintendo 3DS.
“If the audience for 3DS is much broader it could give us much more scope in that market,” he says. “We could bring, let’s say, a House of the Dead or an Aliens title.”
Hayes also notes that the 3Ds is likely to bring a more hardcore audience to the handheld market. Strange, because I’m pretty sure most proper hardcore gamers have owned an handheld at some point. The DS has endless amounts of brilliant games for gamers, and the Game Boy line had too many hardcore games to count.
Still, Aliens and House of the Dead on 3DS? Sounds good to me. Zombie games of any kind are welcome, but won’t tapping on the zombies turn it into a bit of a “whack-a-mole” type game? Let’s hope they can figure out something better.
