GameStop Gaurantees $25 for Select Trade-In Titles

Grab your unloved Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 games, get in your car, and floor it to GameStop. More than fifty titles are worth $25 trade-in credit until June 27, including the ones you see in this image. Yes, that’s right. Final Fantasy XIII. You should hurry. This offer expires in three days.

GameStop has selected a variety of games to benefit from the trade-in bonus and chances are you’ve got at least one of the titles collecting dust somewhere in your room. Remember, this works on store credit trades only. You could always trade towards a brand new game. Like Persona 3 Portable coming out next month for the PSP. Then maybe it’ll help you forget about the soul-crushing experience you had with Final Fantasy XIII.

    The only really good deals Gamestop has ever had are the trade game in for $40 off a select game. Usually those go towards trading in YOUR new game for THEIR new game. Not bad, except you get charged tax for $60 and end up paying around an extra $5-6 (and a total of $25 for game), which really makes you consider trading in a NEW game for $25 and getting a $50 game.

      Ah. Tax. Since I live in Oregon, I don’t have to deal with the sales tax they usually tack onto these games. The perks to this deal are that you can finally trade in games that were normally worth around seven dollars or so and actually get something more substantial for them. Just look closely at the list. Some of those games have been out for several months, like Eternal Sonata and Resonance of Fate. Games with zero re-playability are the ones that really benefit. So in this case, I’d hold onto titles like RDR and Lost Planet 2 and just let this deal affect the games you’ve been holding onto for a long time. Mainly the RPGs.

      make sure when u use those 40 dollars off deals to check ur games im trading in my rdr and fallout goty and i was gonna use it to get 40 off crackdown but i checked that list and id get 50 if i didnt do that u gotta watch out
