Gears of War Fan Makes Cliff Bleszinski’s Month, Puts Others to Shame

There are Gears of War fans, and then there are complete lunatics. This guy falls somewhere in between the two.

Chad is our resident Gears of War fan, and when he linked me to this video, I could sense the shame and sadness in his text. He thought he was a real fan, but after seeing this, he may have realized that he let Cliff Bleszinski down.

I can imagine him now — tears streaming down his face as he slowly pulls his lancer replica from its proud place above his mantle. Kissing it once before stuffing it into a large tupperware container next to his Mr. Potato Head and a broken Rubik’s Cube. He lets out a whimper, snaps the lid back in place, and slides it ever-so-gently back beneath his bed — the final resting place for a lancer owned by Gears of War’s second biggest fan.

He thought he loved Gears. He thought he was the number one fan. But after watching iSekC’s video, he realized iSekC possessed a quality that he did not. Simply put, Chad was not fucking crazy enough.

At least that’s how I imagined it all going down.

Anyway, this is guy is nuts, in the best way possible, which is why CliffyB linked to him on his twitter account, calling the guy the number one Gears fan and saying:

“I can’t stop laughing. This guy made my month! SO GOOD.”
