The $10,000+ eBay SEGA Collection Auction
See that? That is what is known as “the tip of the iceberg.”
It is known as such due to the fact that what you see above is but a sampling of the more than 1,000 SEGA games (among other things) currently being auctioned off on eBay by seller “wheelee01.” Presently, four bids have set the auction price to GBP 7,200.00 (approximately US $10,784.16) as of this writing.
The collection is nothing short of massive But as awesome as this all is, conspicuous by their absence are the Master System (though there is a MS Converter for the Mega Drive), Game Gear, and a few other odds and ends from SEGA’s time in the console business.

Or, you can just grab some popcorn and wait for the clock to tick down to the auction’s close, and see how much it ultimately goes for. As of this writing, there is just one day and 16 hours left.
Great way to celebrate Sonic’s 19th birthday, if you’ve got the money for it. That said, if you had the money to spare, would you bid?
