New Details for Raving Rabbids Travel In Time
When the Ubisoft E3 conference rolled around, I wasn’t at all surprised to see a new Raving Rabbids game. As one of their most popular series since the Wii launched, they’d be crazy not to release a new Rabbids game this fall, around the time that kids will start to compile their wish lists for Santa. We’ve all seen the cute trailer for the game, but thanks to a press release from Ubisoft, we now we have some solid details about the gameplay itself.
The game revolves around a washing machine that plunges the Rabbids back into the past, where tehy have a tendency to mess with the course of history. In the game, it’s up to you to decide if history needs to be changed again. There are 20 different modes in the game, with gameplay types from flying to bouncing, similar to previous games. It looks like the game isn’t going to be a festival of mini-games anymore, as only mini-game to be found in Travel In Time is the interactive museum in the menu, with 30 different Rabbids, from Egyptians to cowboys to pirates.
If you’re into the social integration, Travel in Time will feature an online multiplayer, and the ability to compare scores and trophies with an online community. If you’re into the deep social integration, you can even link the game to your Facebook profile. I’ve been a bit burnt out on the Rabbids ever since the first game, but that doesn’t mean the series isn’t a ton of fun. Raving Rabbids Travel In Time comes out this fall, on November 11th. (It looks like the game was pushed back two days.)
