Transformers Cybertron Devs Ask for Consumer Help to Secure Sequel

I haven’t had the chance to crack open my FedEx delivered copy of Transformers: War for Cybertron, just yet, but everything I’ve head about the game makes me want to finish this post that much faster. In fact, I think Gavin’s review summed it up best by saying:

“See Michael Bay, you can have your cake and blow it the fuck up too.”

That line right there says it all. According to Gavin, we’ve got a chance to get our hands on a Transforms game that combines both action and substance in a package good enough to make him gush like an eleven year old bearded boy on Christmas morning. And don’t do it because he loved it, do it because the developers at High Moon Studios are currently in negotiations with Activision and asking for consumer support to help them secure the rights to future sequels:

“This game presents opportunity, we are talking with Activision about future, please buy the game to support it,” said Hasbro’s Vice President of Intellectual Property Development, Aaron Archer.

Hey, he said please. And if you’re a fan of great sequels to great games, why not give Transformers: War for Cybertron, a shot? Let us know if you do.

Well, since I’ll be getting my copy from someone else, what if I buy the toys? Will that help? These are the answers we need!

Might get Cybertron Adventures at some point, though. It’s apparently a vastly different game with additional narrative.
