Mass Effect 2 Aegis Pack DLC Available Now

BioWare announced its latest surprise DLC pack for Mass Effect 2 today on Twitter. Unfortunately, it’s completely devoid of anything plot related. This latest pack will, however, provide you with more sweet armor pieces to choose from, including a helmet that makes no sense.

The Aegis pack- hold on. There’s already another set of armor in the game called Aegis armor, right? Why are we recycling this? It’s not an add-on to that set, so… Oh, whatever. Just put it in your closet. The pack contains an M-29 Incisor burst-fire sniper rifle and Kestrel armor, which comes in five pieces. The helmet (ROBOCOP?!) adds head shot damage, weapon damage, and shield strength. The chest piece increases melee damage, weapon damage, and shield strength. The shins add more melee damage and shield strength. The arm and leg pieces add shield strength, melee damage, heavy weapon ammo capacity, and weapon damage.
Where was this set of armor when I needed it six months ago?
The Aegis pack is available to download now for 160 Microsoft points.
