Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Multiplayer to have ‘Surprises’

Ubisoft has said that it is planning to have “lots of surprises” for the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer modes.

Product Manager Aziz Khater has said that he can’t currently discuss plans for online play right now, but he did assure that Future Soldier will be competing with shooters already out.

“This is a point that we still can’t talk about right now. What I can say is just that all the origins that has made previous Ghost Recon [games] successful will be in this version.

Obviously we take into account the evolution of the market, and we know that our own competition [has] very solid multiplayer modes, and obviously all the modes that you can find in those games, you’re going to have them in [ours], but we still have some surprises that we want to keep for you.

We’re going to tell you about it later, but you’re going to discover we have lots of surprises for you.”

Can’t wait to see what these “surprises” could be in the online multiplayer. I was a huge fan of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and it’s sequel, and after seeing the demo at E310 last month, I’m pretty excited to see what Future Soldier has in store for us. The invisible camouflage is so dope and I hope to see it in the online multiplayer. Maybe I can finally end play another shooter online other than Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3.

“Lots of surprises!?” When the game comes out. We will see the truth about that.
