R.U.S.E. Free Weekend July 15-19th – Update: Now with Availability

I would have to admit, I am as excited as a little kid on Christmas morning about R.U.S.E. It seems to be the perfect balance between gameplay, strategy and deception, so let us hope it doesn’t fail when it launches in September.

After the initial Multiplayer Beta that ran through Steam, Ubisoft pulled the game down, and essentially went through and tweaked so much that the final product is now far superior to the original players got to fiddle with. This new and updated version is now going to be accessible by the public in a Steam Free Weekend running from July 15th through til July 19th. I’m hoping that prior to this the game is made available for pre-download so we can get as much hands on time with the Beta as possible. There’s a video embedded below that literally covers everything that Ubisoft has implemented. It runs for 20 minutes, but is definitely worth checking out…

Expect an in-depth hands on report when the Free Weekend finishes up. I can’t wait.

Update: We were unsure of the time the R.U.S.E Beta would be accessible for download, so I tweeted “UbiLeak”, Ubisofts Twitter account and recieved this;
