Kane & Lynch 2 Being Released One Week Early

With Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days going Gold (Ready to be shipped/printed), Square Enix and IO Interactive have announced that the title is going to release one week earlier, that’s right earlier, than originally intended. Meant for release on August 24th and August 27th in North America and Europe respectively, the title is now set to ship on the 17th and 20th in the respective regions. As further cream on the cake, Square Enix announced players who pre-order the game will recieve exclusive costumes based on Chinese masks, as well as 7 new multiplayer weapons. Oh, if that doesn’t take your fancy you will also get a new and exclusive “Radio Tower” multiplayer map. COPENHAGEN (July 13, 2010) — IO Interactive, a part of Square Enix® Europe, is pleased to confirm that Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days™ has gone gold and will now release one week earlier than previously scheduled on August 17, 2010 in North America and August 20 throughout Europe and other PAL territories*, on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC.
