Mafia II Limited Edition Gun Lamps
We all know Sam Fisher likes to shoot lights out, but apparently mobsters like to shoot lights on. At least, that’s what one can take away from this ridiculous promotional pairing for 2K Games’ upcoming Mafia II.
Limited edition goodies are awesome and and it makes for good advertising to hand them out to celebrities, like Snoop Dogg posted above. What doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense is putting a gun in a lamp. What does it mean? Does it mean anything? Did they want to give out gun replicas and then realize “holy hell, we can’t just give out fake guns. Stick’em in lamps.”
It’s insanity. I’m open to the notion that there’s a meaning here I’m not getting, but until I learn that, I’m just going to enjoy the craziness of it all. Enjoy your firearm lamp, Snoop.
