The Super Mario Bros. Theme Nintendo DS Lite Game Card and Stylus Set is one of the original Club Nintendo Rewards. The item itself opens and closes like a book. Inside the book contains several styli for the Nintendo DS Lite, as well as slots to hold up to nine Nintendo DS game cards.

Usefulness- 4 out of 10

I don’t find this reward to be that useful. Most people who play the Nintendo DS probably have some way to travel with their games already. If you don’t then this item may be more useful to you.
The real use that I can find in this reward is the fact that it comes with seven different styli. The colors included are indeed the colors of the rainbow. The price of official Nintendo styli are often higher than I’d like them to be so one could make good use of this reward if you want to get a bunch of Nintendo DS Lite styli as well as a cool looking reward. The negative here is that the styli included are for the Nintendo DS Lite and not for the newer models such as the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL.
As A Collectable- 7 out of 10

This Club Nintendo Reward is really cool looking. The art on the case is from the NES title Super Mario Bros. This is the game that got me hooked on gaming and Nintendo. Since it has Mario on it, as well as the official Club Nintendo logo, I’m sure that this item will be a decent collectable. Even if it’s not highly sought after it will still look nice in any Nintendo collection.
Overall Value- 7 out of 10
This reward is a bit pricey at 600 Club Nintendo Coins. While it looks amazing I’m not quite sure that it’s for everyone. As I mentioned earlier someone looking for a way to travel with more DS games, and people who need more Nintendo DS Lite styli, may find this to be a better reward for them.
The problem with the value of this item is that there are several other items for the same cost that someone may prefer instead of this one. There are even other similar items. Also some of the higher end Club Nintendo rewards are only 200 coins more so members of the club may want to just wait until they can afford those.
Overall Club Nintendo members can still love this piece since it looks so cool even if it isn’t one of the higher end rewards.
