Mark Hamill Will Voice The Joker in DC Universe Online

Despite saying that Arkham Asylum 2 will be the last time he will voice the Joker, Mark Hamill will be joining the cast of voice actors in DC Universe online as The Joker.

Hamill, who played the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series, as well as some other character in a small series of films in the seventies and eighties, will appear alongside a cast of voice actors that many Batman fans will recognise.

Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, Batman: Arkham Asylum) will play Batman, continuing his line of work as the character. Activision says that “Conroy has portrayed the superhero longer than any other actor in either live-action or animation.”

Adam Baldwin will play Superman in the game, with Gina Torres playing Wonder Woman and James Marsters playing Lex Luthor. Michelle Forbes will play Wonder Woman’s nemesis Circe, completing the cast of recognisable voice actors and actresses.

DC Universe Online is scheduled to ship November 2, 2010 for both the PC and the PS3.
