ESRB Lists NBA Jam for Xbox 360 and PS3

Earlier today, the ESRB had a listing for NBA Jam on the Xbox 360 and PS3, but the listing was eventually taken down due to reports from different websites.

Although the ESRB listing has been pulled, you can still take a peek at it through Google Cache. The listing clearly states the game is for Xbox 360 and PS3, but EA has been saying that the NBA Jam remake would be exclusively for the Wii. This could very well be evidence that NBA Jam will eventually be coming to other consoles, most likely after the game is already released on the Wii.

But why did the ESRB remove the listing, you ask? Most likely because EA had noticed the reports going on today and had them take it down. I guess we won’t know for sure until we get some clear cut answers from EA, but if I had to bet on it, I’d say that NBA Jam will not be exclusively for the Wii, at least not in the long run.

NBA Jam is set to be released for the Wii on October 5.
