Call of Duty Black Ops Special Not-So-Original Editions Announced

If you’re a fan of special editions, well you better get your wallet ready for another hit. Buy.com today had listings for a “Prestige” and “Hardened” pack for Treyarch’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops. The bundles were $149.99 and $79.99 respectively, with no contents announced.

This could be the first mistake Treyarch’s made during the production of Black Ops, if the recent listing is to be believed. No doubt the Infinity Ward keyboard warriors are mounting their valiant steeds of immaturity, prepared to defend the legacy that Modern Warfare 2 left. And of course, Treyarch is copying it. When we hear some concrete details we’ll let you know.

    It was stupid enough of Activation to let go of the Infinity Ward. I will buy this game but it’s not necessary to have a Prestige and Hardened edition. It wont sell as much as MW2 did imo.
