Batman: Arkham City Announced
It has been announced today that the official title for the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum will be Batman: Arkham City. The game will be available on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in Autumn 2011.
The new game will be set “inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City,” with a new story and “new and enhanced gameplay features.” The official website can be found here, but it’s fairly sparse at the moment.
Game informer will be featuring the game in their next issue, and the covers can be seen below. It all looks fantastic so far, and with the quality of Arkham Asylum as a guide, we’re in for a real treat here.
