Mafia II Demo Available Now on Steam

2K have finally released the PC demo of Mafia II on Steam, which gives you ten precious minutes to play with a small part of the game’s city environment.

The game releases on the 24th August in the UA, with a 27 August release schedules for PAL territories- so there’s plenty of time to get playing the demo. I am unable to give you a test run of it right now, but now’s the time for you to check it out for yourself. If it’s anything like as addictive as the Just Cause 2 demo was, we’ll be playing it constantly until the game releases.

I’ve heard there are ways to circumvent the time limit on the demo, that you should(n’t) apply to

\Steam\steamapps\common\mafia ii – public demo\pc\Mafia2.exe

But I don’t know if they’re true or not. Just a heads up.
