Giveaway: Win a Copy of Monday Night Combat for XBLA! [UPDATE]

Ever since it was announced, people have been calling Monday Night Combat “Team Fortress 2 with robots”, and while I’d venture to say it’s not much exactly like TF2, I’ve definitely been enjoying it as much as I enjoy TF2. And if you haven’t bought the game yet, Ripten’s giving you a chance to enjoy it too!

Our pals over at Uber Entertainment passed along a code for the game, and we’re passing it on to you! All you have to do for a shot at this code is to leave a comment below. Make sure you use your real email to leave the comment too, as we’re going to send the comment to that email if you win. One comment per person, but make sure you get your comment in before 11:59PM PST on Sunday, August 15th. If you’re still not sure whether or not you even want to play the game, stay tuned for our review of the game going up soon!

    Played the demo, looks very good. Too many times the demo looks too good to be true (and most of the time it is), but in MNC’s case, it actually serves to proves its point: sometimes, less is more. I’d be willing to drop 1200 MS points on such a fine-tuned game (okay, so the Assassin needs nerfing,I’ve heard, but that’s another issue to debate, another time), simply because there are actual plans to keep supporting this game. If that is true, MNC may soar to my short list of games I play online.

    I really dig the demo, but I think there’s a whole lotta games going on at once. In the horde mode, there’s sort of an Engineer thing going, plus whatever actual class you play. It is a bit overwhelming.

    I was torn between buying this, and buying a curry. I went for the curry. It was by no means a clear victory though. One hand grasped my controller, the other my phone; each patiently awaiting my decision.

    The curry was fraking delicious, but fleeting. If only I had spent my life savings on Monday Night Combat. I have the feeling it would have been more nutritionally relevant, and less painful the next day.
