The Silver Nintendo DS Game Card Case With Stylus is the only regular North American Club Nintendo reward that has been completely removed. The case can hold up to six Nintendo DS game cards and comes with an aluminum stylus. This rewards also has the nice feature of having magnets to help hold the case shut.

Usefulness- 7 out of 10

I find that the Silver Nintendo DS Game Card Case is very useful. As mentioned earlier it can easily store up to six Nintendo DS game cards and the case itself is very lightweight. The case is also very soft so you know that your precious Nintendo DS games are safe.

The included stylus is also very useful. This aluminum stylus is much larger than all the regular Nintendo DS styli with the exception of the special large Nintendo DSi XL stylus. Even then the large Nintendo DSi XL Stylus is just barely longer than this. The aluminum stylus has a nice weight to it though making it feel higher quality even if it isn’t the most practical one to use while on the go.

As A Collectable- 6 out of 10

The Silver Nintendo DS Game Card Case has the Club Nintendo logo on one side and the Nintendo DS double O logo on the other. Featured inside the case is a full Nintendo DS logo and the aluminum stylus has the words “club. nintendo” on it.

The Silver Nintendo DS Game Card Case With Stylus is no longer available at Club Nintendo. I feel that the reason it was removed was due to it being an unpopular reward option. With that said I think that this item may eventually be highly sought after by Club Nintendo collectors but only time will tell.

Overall Value- 6 out of 10

With the Silver Nintendo DS Game Card Case With Stylus having a cost of 700 Club Nintendo Coins it’s easy to see why club members probably didn’t go for this reward. For only 100 more coins club members could have received Hanafuda Cards or the Game & Watch Collection for the Nintendo DS. Also for 100 coins less club members could have received one of the Nintendo DS Lite Game Card and Stylus Sets that come with six more styli and can hold three additional games.

Even with these value drawbacks the Silver Nintendo DS Game Card Case With Stylus is by no means a bad reward. It offered some benefits over the similarly priced items and, will no doubt, become one of the rarest North American Club Nintendo Rewards.
