Trapped in a Mine for the next 4 months? Send down the PSPs.
It’s been gripping news the past month as 33 Chilean miners remain trapped 2,500 feet below the surface in a collapsed mine. Boredom and despair have no doubt set in as landslides and complications have experts estimating rescue could take 4 months. Luckily, they’ve been sent down PSPs.
PlayStation Portables have been included in the day to day survival essentials sent to each miner. No word on the games. Hopefully authorities had the foresight to send them the proper games. Games with at least 30 hours of game play, such as Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the Grand Theft Auto series and Final Fantasy Tactics.
My prayers are with the Chilean miners to be returned to their loved ones as quickly as possible. And may they have enough batteries to pass the time.
