THQ Reveals Additional Pre-Order Incentives for WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011

When THQ began to reveal info about the newest iteration in the WWE Raw vs. Smackdown series, one item of interest was that Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart would be available as a pre-order bonus for those who ordered the game from Best Buy, as well as major Canadian retailers. And today, they’ve revealed what those who patronize other stores and websites will receive.
“While supplies last,” Toys R Us pre-orders will come with an alternate entrance attire for The Undertaker which recalls the Phenom’s days as the leader of the Ministry of Darkness. Like Bret, this option is only available for those who pre-order the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 versions.
Amazon.com boasts three alternate attire options for “The Viper,” Randy Orton. But unlike Bret and the Ministry of Darkness outfit, this t-shirt, referee uniform, and suit package are said to be available for any platform.
Similarly, those who pre-order at Walmart for any platform will receive an additional arena, based on WWE’s annual “Tribute to the Troops” overseas events, as seen above.
Retail incentives for other regions, such as Europe, will be announced later in the year. Meanwhile, the North American release of WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 seems to be firmly locked in for October 26th.
