Square Enix Lobotomizes MindJack Until 2011
Square Enix and developer Feelplus will delay MindJack until 2011. Originally scheduled for an October release, Square Enix confirmed the delay earlier today.
MindJack is best described as third-person action-adventure video game with a single-player campaign that “transitions seamlessly” into cooperative gameplay (confused? I am a little). In addition to regular shooter mechanics, players can MindJack (hack) into and control civilians, vehicles, enemies, even cyborg gorrilas, to manipulate the game’s universe.
MindJack will be displayed at next weeks Tokyo Game Show and will hopefully demonstrate just how well these unique gameplay elements work together. MindJack is being developed for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Does the announcer in the video below love to say “MindJack”?
