Free EA Game for APB Purchasers

The MMO shooter All Points Bulletin (APB) shut down after a mere 3 months after release. Players of the game were not offered a refund via Stream while retail copy owners were told to return to the store they purchased it from for a refund.

Well, EA is trying to clean up some hurt feelings among these players by offering a download of a popular EA game through the EA store if APB was purchased.

Titles include: Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Spore, The Saboteur, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Just login to your EA account and search the “help” section for the form to fill out.

It’s a nice gesture since Steam isn’t offering a refund. There’s an inherent problem with digital distribution : outlets like Steam can flat out offer no refund and there’s not much to do about it.
