Nintendo Announces New Wii Hardware And Software
Earlier today at Nintendo’s Japanese media briefing, company President Satoru Iwata formally announced the hot new Wii Remote Plus. The new hardware was shown in four colors but not much else was said about the device. Iwata also revealed that the upcoming Wii game, The Last Story, will launch in Japan on January 27th of next year. Still no word on a release outside of Japan.
In addition, Nintendo announced two new Wii titles shortly after the event. The first title appears to be a new entry in the Rhythm Tengoku (Rhythm Heaven) series. The other title is a new Fatal Frame game. It is unknown if these new Wii titles will be released outside of Japan at this time.
