Like many other gamers, yesterday I got hands on with Duke Nukem Forever. A game which I’ve been waiting for, for over a damn decade. Was the wait worth it? Well my first impression is, oh hell yes.

Jungly Jump is a fairly typical catapult-stuff-at-other-stuff type game. While games like this saturate the App Store on the iPhone, Jungly Jump has a few features that help it stand out from the rest of them.

Remember that teaser trailer we posted about last week? Well, Telltale have revealed the game it was teasing. As we suspected, it’s a Poker game, and features The Heavy from TF2, Tycho from Penny Arcade, Max from Sam & Max and Strongbad from Homestar Runner.

While I can’t speak or read Japanese, the universal message of this new trailer released by Nintendo of Japan is clear: Kirby is cute…sickingly so.

Take-Two is laughing all the way to the bank with Red Dead Redemption, which has led the company to it’s first profitable year without a major GTA release. The company saw net revenue for its fiscal third quarter reach $354.1 million, up significantly from the $94.9 million reported last year during the same time period. Leading the profits is Red Dead Redemption, which has shipped 6.9 million copies worldwide since the May release.

There’s fan art, and there’s fan art. This falls in the latter, italicized category. Being a big fan of Mario and his word, I was already perfectly happy with Shy Guy and Yoshi exactly how they were. Now I’m less happy. Sorry Nintendo.

While it comes as no surprise to many, Take-Two announced today that Rockstar’s upcoming action title L.A. Noire has in fact been delayed until next year.
