Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Red Wii Coming

Today Nintendo has announced a special edition Red Wii console that will launch in Japan on November 11, in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros.  The red Wii will be bundled with a red version of the the new Wii Remote Plus and a red Nunchuck controller.

In addition, this special edition Wii will come with a Special 25th Anniversary version of Super Mario Bros.  This version of the game will feature the number 25 on Question Mark Blocks throughout the game.  Further changes are currently unknown.  Nintendo has not yet announced a release date outside of Japan for this sweet new Wii.

    I have been waiting for something different for a long time. When I bought mine there was only white available. Now there is white, black, and red. I am also a big Mario fan. However, I don’t think that I can justify purchasing another Wii, when I already have one. Or can I?
