Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Sequel’s Development Confirmed

A sequel for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has been confirmed and is already in development.

Oscar Araujo, composer of the game’s soundtrack, spoke about the game a little too early for Konami’s liking. On a Spanish radio, Araujo confirmed a sequel and went on to say MercurySteam has already begun development of it.

“If you liked the first [game], hope that the second is even more spectacular,” said Araujo.

When creating the soundtrack for the game, Konami asked Oscar Araujo for a “rough” and “aggressive” score to shed the series’ old style.
