Mana Bar Melbourne Coming Before End of 2010
As part of my Australian duties, it is my job to attend countless BBQ’s, drink unhealthy amounts of beers and to ride Kangaroos around the countryside. To be honest, none of that is actually true, however Australia is lucky enough to be graced with one of the coolest gaming spots ever; The Mana Bar. The Mana Bar gives gamers a social atmosphere to relax in whilst they play new release games and attend a bunch of different weekly events. Unluckily for most however, the only way to attend was by going to Brisbane, the home of the first venue.
Well that is set to change as the four pioneers of the Mana Bar are set to open a new location in Melbourne, as RipTen previously reported. Guy “Yug” Blomberg, one quarter of the creative genious behind this crazy yet effective bar was recently interviewed by Michael Woods, during which they discussed plans for the new venue.
Earlier tonight Yug linked his Facebook friends to a new Facebook Group for the Melbourne Mana Bar that has an image telling everyone it would be coming before the end of 2010. Stay tuned as I’ve been lucky enough to secure an interview with Yug himself, and I’ll be sure to drill him with all sorts of questions.
There is also a Sydney Mana Bar coming however it wont be open until 2011.
