Patrice Desilets, the former Creative Director of the Asssassin’s Creed series has joined rival publisher THQ after leaving Ubisoft back in June of 2010. During his time with Ubisoft Desilets worked on a number of games, namely Prince of Persia, before he was moved into the role of Creative Director on the Assassin’s Creed series, which has gone on to become one of the biggest IP’s in the gaming industry.

Set to commence work in the Summer of 2011, Desilets and his team are set to create a whole new IP in a whole new studio at THQ’s offices in Montreal. Stay tuned for more information as it comes out in regards to the project he will be working on.
