Homefront Novel On The Way, Co-Penned by John Milius
John Milius, the Director and screenwriter responsible for such movies as Apocalypse Now, Conan the Barbarian and Red Dawn is already co-writing the script for THQ and Kaos Studio’s upcoming game Homefront, but now he is lined up to co-write a tie in novel to the game with Raymond Benson. Benson is known for his work with the Metal Gear Solid novels so he has some credibility when writing about video games in the novel format.
“John Milius has already worked with us extensively on the Homefront game, and we’re thrilled to have him and Raymond on board as we develop our near-future world into other types of media,” stated Danny Bilson, THQ’s Executive Vice President for Core Games.
“Homefront represents a fascinating vision of the near-future,” added Milius. “After completing my work on the game, it became clear that there were many more stories to tell, and this book will offer a chilling look at this near-future world.”
