Project Gotham Racing Revival Planned

Microsoft is apparently in talks with a number of European independent developers in regards to bringing the Project Gotham series back to life on the Xbox 360, Develop reports. Although Microsoft is still in the process of selecting a developer, the word is that Microsoft is unsure of what developer should actually be handed the IP and ultimately the rights to the new title.

Turn-10, the developers of the critically acclaimed Forza series is currently the most likely candidate with their extensive knowledge in both the genre and development of racing titles. MCV raises a good point though, as they say; “Yet Microsoft’s hunt for a studio partner suggests the project will not be brought in-house.”.
