Treyarch Head Partners with Nvidia, Stands Behind 3D PC Gaming

During a recent press conference with Nvidia, RipTen learned that Treyarch was so blown away by the immersion of 3D Vision, that they just had to develop it for Black Ops.
Treyarch’s development of stereoscopic 3D began only as a simple R & D project. However, according to Mark Lamia, the studio head of Treyarch:
“Once we saw what the technology brought to the Call of Duty experience, what a great fit and how immersive it was, we knew that we had to develop it for Black Ops”
Nvidia and Treyarch have since partnered up and it’s pretty safe to say that future Treyarch titles will utilize 3D technology on the PC.
This is great news for PC gamers and as someone who is currently playing Black Ops in 3D on his PC, I can say that it really is bloody awesome. :-)
Speaking of awesome, did you know Nvidia unveiled the GTX 580 today? If you want 3D PC gaming for the next generation, you may want to check your bank account and then check that bad boy out.
