Call of Duty: Black Ops Gets Small PC Patch

When booting up Steam today I noticed some small updating had occurred to Black Ops.  Could it be!?  Yes indeed!!  They had fixed stuff!!

Treyarch community manager Josh Olin outlined the changes which you can read about below:

  • gameservers.com has bumped sv_maxrate to 25000 across all servers to reduce lag
  • gameservers.com continues to improve official server distribution

  • Friends fix for join in progress and Friends tab in server browser.
  • Performance improvement for dual and quad core.
  • Improved connectivity with Black Ops Rcon tool.

    wen i try and play black ops it is saying direct x 3d device 9 failed how do i get around this i have tryed loads of things wot has been put on the web can you help also were do i finde pc patch for the game ???
