Prototype 2 Officially Announced
The rumors from a teaser video released this week are true. During Spike TV’s VGAs, Activision officially announced Prototype 2.
Prototype 2 will continue to take place in New York City following the story of Sergeant James Allen, complete with his own set of abilities in the same form as the original games main character, Alex Mercer. Allen will set out to complete his orders to take down Alex Mercer. From the trailer, the game looks to be as James Allen is the main playable character instead of Mercer, but no confirmation has been given.
Prototype 2 is expected to release in 2012.
