X-Men Arcade Mutates XBLA and PSN – Come Play With RipTen

Beware Sentinels, X-Men Arcade is here

If there’s one Konami arcade game from the early nineties that we want to see re-released, it’s obviously The Simpsons Arcade Game.

A few weeks ago, we would have said 1992′s X-Men, but since X-Men Arcade dropped today on PSN and XBLA, we’ll now have to spend our days wishing for Springfield’s finest family to grace our home consoles.  Yet. as of today, players can pick up one of the greatest, quarter-gobbling-ist, arcade games ever released for a scant $10 (800 MSP)

X-Men Arcade is a fully-featured, faithful port of the 1991 classic, albeit with the addition of customizable difficulty levels. Up to six players can join in online and take down Sentinels as Nightcrawler, Colossus, Wolverine and other X-Men heroes. X-Men Arcade also offers local multplayer for up to 6 (PS3) and 4 (Xbox 360) players. For players that have  fully have mastered the game in the arcades, the new release also features the Japanese version of the game as well. To top it off, online leaderboards will allow players to compete for rank.

Head online and download X-Men Arcade, available now!
