PSP2 as Powerful as Playstation 3 – Set for Q4 2011 Launch

Sony is going big with their follow up handheld console – slating it for a Q4 2011 release and going as far as saying that the device is as powerful as its console counterpart; the Playstation 3.

The new Playstation Portable is expected to arrive within the Q4 period, with some people suggesting a delivery as early as October. The new device features dual joysticks and is rumoured to look similar to the original PSP. To further back up the expected release date, Sony is already talking to developers and publishers about the first wave of games.

      Not necessarily. The thing that made the PS3 really expensive was the Bluray drive and the PS2 Emotion Engine.
