Nintendo 3DS Parental Controls Revealed
Today at Nintendo’s 3DS media event I had the chance to skim through all of the Parental Controls the new handheld has to offer. These include:
Software Rating
Internet Browser
Nintendo 3DS Shopping Services
Display Of 3D Images
Sharing Images/Audio/Video
Online Interaction
Street Pass
Friend Registration
DS Download Play
Most of these options just ask if the parental unit would like it enabled or disabled. The only difference, that I can remember, is for the Software Rating where parents can choose which games are alright for their child to play by ratings.
One more important note was that the Nintendo 3DS seemed to mention some sort of super unlock key for parents to use in the event that they forgot the four digit numeric key they created to keep little Jimmy off the Internet.
