Kinect and MineCraft Stop Motion is Pointless But Cool

Some modders have managed to add themselves to MineCraft using the Kinect device, creating an impressive stop motion loop or two.

The video is below, and it’s all very impressive. The thing is, I don’t really see why the modders decided that their goal was to “Take a sequence of snapshots from a Kinect and transform them into a stop motion animation within Minecraft. This is the second phase of the Minecraft-Kinect integration project.”
